From the caravans of yesterday... to the solutions of today
Our story stems from a rich family legacy spanning three generations in the transportation and logistics sector, rooted in the unification of the Kingdom. Our expertise and knowledge in this field go back to the first generation, our grandfather, Dhafer bin Dawwas. He began his camel-backed transportation journeys in 1391 AH. He transported rice from Kuwait and dates from Al-Ahsa to Najd. His sons accompanied him on some of his journeys, establishing a culture of transportation across generations.
The legacy continued with the second generation, as Sheikh Mohammed bin Dhafer and his brothers worked for the Saudi Railways since its inception. This spanned over 44 years. Mohammed bin Dhafer eventually assumed the position of General Manager of the Railways' Riyadh branch and oversaw the management of the Riyadh Dry Port, the first integrated logistics zone in the Kingdom. This added an institutional and specialized dimension to our experience in the field of transportation and logistics services.
The idea for establishing the company stemmed from these accumulated experiences and the opportunities provided by working at the dry port. These experiences were the impetus for Sheikh Mohammed bin Dhafer's sons, Abdullah, Khaled, and Hazza, to usher in a new era in 1980 with the establishment of Khaled Al Dhafer and Brothers Logistics Company, which began in the field of customs clearance and transportation.
It then grew and developed over the course of 45 years to become one of the leading companies in the field of integrated logistics services in the Kingdom.
